Contronics’ owners, Elwyn and Jill Jones, have for some time been seeking an acquirer who would maintain the company’s financial stability, excellent reputation and long-term customer relationships and would also continue to offer stable employment and career development to existing staff.
We are delighted to tell you that Contronics has been acquired by Dr Stephane Mery (Managing Director) and David Waiman (Chairman). Enthusiastic support for the acquisition by the existing senior managers of Contronics led by Paul Flood (Operations Manager) and Stuart Lea (Engineering Manager) has ensured that commitment of existing staff throughout the organisation is maintained.

Dr Stephane Mery is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, whose career has been with GSK and biotech companies; David Waimann has successfully managed several technology start-ups. Stephane and David share with Paul and Stuart a similar vision for the future of the company: continuing to develop and expand the existing product range of laboratory monitoring systems and exploring diversification opportunities into other related healthcare applications.

It is noted that the acquirers will take a 15 year lease on the premises and that all the established team will continue to be employed: the same people will maintain continuity of the same high standards of service, based on ISO9001:2008 registration, from the same premises
